torn.

being in the middle of opposing sides, equal in strength and justification, is a difficult place to be. i'm not sure how i ended up here; i just know that it's where i currently find myself. and it makes me sad. it's hurts a little, too. i don't want to have to choose sides. not only is that not fair to me, it would be more hurtful for more people in the long run. mostly because i love everyone involved, and know that they love me in return. my question at this point is: why can't everyone just love each other? no, that's not right. i'm sure they do love each other. i guess the more appropriate inquiry would be: if i can understand each side, empathize with them, and see their respective points of view, what is hindering them from doing the same? i wish i knew the answer. i'm certain it would go a long way in eliminating this constant feeling of helplessness to do something about it. i will keep praying that God would give me that answer i'm searching for, the solution that is much needed. i will keep praying there is one. until then, i just choose to continue to love.

I am sorry. These situations are very difficult. It sounds like you are doing what you need to be though. God is involved though because you are praying.
